Gregory Hershel, Sr. is the President/CEO of Hershel Partners, Inc. which is comprised of a commercial development group and a real estate consulting firm. He has over 25 years of experience in the residential and commercial development industry totaling multi-millions in project values.

Throughout the early 1990s, Greg served as a Board Member for the Mallieu Community Development, Inc. located in Fort Smith, Arkansas where he took part in spearheading the financial direction for various multi-million dollar community development projects throughout the City. Greg’s extensive work performed with local City officials and providing expansion needs to the community makes him a champion in pioneering development and construction projects impeccably. 

Greg believes that strong partnerships between stakeholders, partners, the community, and the project management team have leveraged the company’s core expertise through its vertical integration, providing turnkey real estate solutions in the marketplace. 

Greg has been at the forefront of consuming intimate competencies in development, management, construction and financial oversight from qualified experts in the market. For over 2 years, Greg served as a Plan Reviewer on behalf of the Maricopa County Planning and Development in Phoenix, AZ where he validated the strengths and weaknesses of proposed residential, commercial and mixed-use construction projects ranging from $10K to $100M in project value. 

While serving as the President for GHS, Inc.; Greg has co-developed master plans in conjunction with the local Economic Development Council of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and the Office of the Mayor. Because of Greg’s thorough knowledge and understanding of economic growth and development, Greg mastered a position as the Senior Project Manager for Melancon & Son, Inc. where he managed a $15M mixed-use commercial development working unswervingly with all project stakeholders. In 2001 he served as the Senior Project Manager for MM & R, LLC where he managed a $20M residential development. In 2005, GHS established a partnership with JC Lordes, LLC to construct a $25M residential development in Oklahoma City.

Greg recognized an opportunity to build his own firm with the sole purpose of helping people improve. Thus, Hershel Partner, Inc. was officially formed in the states of Arkansas and Texas. Today, Greg leads a team of professionals ensuring that Hershel Partners, Inc. remains stimulated by its absolute purpose of: “Building the concourse today for the advancement of tomorrow’s humanity”. As the leader of Hershel Partners, Inc., Greg’s purpose of the firm is attained through its mission of: “Helping People Improve”. 

In 2015, Greg and his firm met with the Mayor, of Dallas, City Council, and Economic Development Department to assist in developing the Redbird/Camp Wisdom Corridor as part of the Mayor’s GrowSouth Initiative Program. After extensive research and attending over 100 meetings with the community and leaders, several locations were identified within the Southwest Oak Cliff area for economic development. Greg was instrumental in the now Redbird Mall development project.

In 2016, Greg built a solid team of professionals and partners such as Oak Cliff Community Development, Inc. Operation Community Care, 3i Contractors, LLC , Camp Wisdom Now, Royal Realty, etc.that not only have the vision but brings over 50 years of commercial real estate and management experience.
